Trasferring to new host

Hi
I have backed up my website and have downloaded a .gz file. I have also backed up my database.

In new host cpanel I have set up wordpress and new database with exact same file names and user names etc as previous.

I have uploaded backup database and all took except one error for the Yoast plugin. I uploaded the .gz file to public_html and extracted there but none of my files from the original website have transferred over.

Can someone help get my website back? Have I put files in the wrong place etc?
