There are a few different ways to do it. I personally like CodeStyling Localization. Its a plugin where you can add translations to any installed plugin or theme on your site.

If you want to share your translation with the rest of the myCRED community feel free to send them to me and I would be happy to credit you for the work.

If you have followed the instructions on the website on how to add and enable custom localisation files then you need to contact their support to ask for help as I cant help you troubleshoot that particular plugin.
