• Hello all,
I’m currently working on the site sundsnack.dk.
We are running a danish translation and most things are running smoothly.
However, is it possible to translate the “Your Cart” reference when used in the topbar? Couldn’t find it in either the theme language or the woocommerce language files.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Jens

  • Same question here!

Your Cart is a string in the theme language files? I just double checked? You may have to translate it for your language.

    Hi Kadence Themes,
That is so odd. I am using poedit and it never found the string – looks like the it didn’t copy into my translation for some reason.
Having done it over it now looks like the translation works, but is immediately replaced with the original string (I can se this, when I reload the page – the text “Din kurv” flashes for a brief moment).
Any idea, what would cause this?
Once again thanks for the fantastic theme and support.
    Regards,
    Jens

Just a caching issue. Just need to add something to cart to clear it.

Brilliant – I was switching the “Show cart in topbar” setting on and off like crazy. Never thought to put something in the basket.
    Works fine now.
… will my translations be deleted with the next theme update if saved in the /languages folder?
    Thanks again

Yes it would be removed when you update. if you want to email me your updated translation I can include in the theme or you can use a child theme and add a function to force the child theme language file to load.
