Translating homepage with WPML

    Hi,

    How to translate homepage with WPML plug-in?
    I can’t figure out how to tranlate theme options; Things like site Tagline, home Portfolio Carousel title, icon menu…

    All other translations (pages, menus…) works fine.

    I use Virtue v 2.2.0, WPML v 3.1.5, CodeStyling Localization v 1.99.30, WP v 3.9.1

    I bet I missed somthing on the forum or there is an easy solution, but I can’t find it…

    Hey,
    for things like the tagline, carousel title, you have to use the string translation options in the WPML string translation section.

    The icon menu unfortunately can’t be translated with WPML yet.

    With the premium theme you can use page builder to create all the same options that are in the theme options and this allows for the site to be completely translatable.

    I have the same problem…

    Are you telling me that with the WPML Multilingual CMS package I can’t translate my Virtue theme home page?

    PS – If Kadence would make a multi-purpose bilingual theme that could be fully translated without all those plugin issues, that would be ideal! After all, WordPress is for non-coding types. 😉

    Hey,
    You can use the string translation tools to translate the home page. What part are you trying to translate that isn’t working for you?
