  • Is it possible to transform all the special characters into correct html code, like:
    "
    à
    è
    and so on.
    Some browser doesn’t translate correctly charset codes into real characters.

  • If you mean use the defined names like & instead of the numbers like & … then I think you’d have to edit texturize, or replace it altogether with something else.
    As a side note: I’m not 100% sure, but instinct tells me that the numerical codes are more likely to work accross all browsers, since they are standardized in an ANSI/ISO spec., whereas the names are (I think) just a convention that was invented by one of the browsers and then incoporated into W3C recommendations (point being, some browsers may support more names than others, but they should all support all the numbers — unless they are rather old and can’t support non-western languages at all either).
