Transferring from WP.com to WP.org

    Hi,
    I’m transferring a WordPress.com blog with a LOT of material to a self hosted WordPress.org.

    I have successfully imported all of the content using the ‘import’ / ‘export’ xml file.
    So, my question is if all of the image files are actually being transferred as well or just linking back to the WordPress.com account. The image urls in the posts indicate that this is the case.. What is the best way to handle this situation?
