Transferring from localhost to server

    Hello,

    I finished my WordPress website on localhost and now I’m ready to transfer it to a server.

    I have two questions / problems:

    1. How do you transfer it? I’ve read that the Duplicator plugin is very helpful. However, I am new to it and it states “this plugin does require above average technical knowledge”. Any advice?

    2. How do I make it secure? I’ve never handled a WordPress site online before. I also never have secured a database (mySQL) online, if needed.
