   I bought kixvix.com last February through wordpress.com and I want to transfer it to a self-hosted website.

   Just bought hosting through Mediatemple. I did their 1-step wp installation for kixvix.com.

   Problem is:
   http://www.kixvix.com works BUT
   kixvix.com (without www) is still directed to the old wordpress.com site.

   How do I fix this? Thanks in advance!

   You'll need to contact the folks at wordpress.com about transferring your domain over to your new hosts.
