Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me.

I just recently purchased hosting at hostgator for my blog so I transfered everything from my free version ourp90xresults.wordpress.com to http://www.ourp90xresults.com

Everything went smoothly except if you notice the difference between the two is that on the free version my menu at the top as drop down menus that actually work but yet they dont work won the version Im paying to have hosted.

The free version had no additional widgits downloaded or anything. Also take notice that my videos on http://ourp90xresults.wordpress.com/need-motivation/motivational-videos/ display, but dont on http://ourp90xresults.com/need-motivation/motivational-videos/.

If anybody could help me on this it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

check that your menu is set up correctly at new site
    dashboard - appearance - menus

not sure about videos - how are you inserting them?

Okay, I'm thinking there might be a couple things going on... as I'm guessing here as I don't know the theme

As far as the video, check the the tutorials and make sure that when it's installed as a self-hosted site, that you don't need to install a plugin to make the video part active again.

The menus, first check on the "menu" feature and see if your theme works with menus. If so, you will probably need to set them up again.

Menus was the first thing I checked, thing is. On the free version I have no menus setup and it just works. On my hosted version when I click menus it says The current theme does not natively support menus, but you can use the “Custom Menu” widget to add any menus you create here to the theme’s sidebar. SO my question then is why would the theme have menus that worked on free version but not work in my hosted version??

That is weird... where they set up this way by using the page attributes on each individual page. Or does the theme have any option to show or not show dropdown pages.

Yeah I had set them up using the page attributes on each individual page. The theme doesn't have any option to show/not show dropdown

So after the transfer, did the page attributes keep their values?

Yeah they kept their values. Its really odd for why it wouldnt work.

Weird. Looking at your old site, are these posts and not pages?

They are pages. What even more weird is if I try to delete a page and recreate it still wont work. I created a new page, titled test, and then created a page underneath its structure test drop down, and it wont appear. so strange

Okay, this was really bugging me. So I installed this theme on a sandbox site I have, tried to create sub-navigation and it didn't work.

So then I go into WordPress.com, add it, and it supports the menu feature.

Looks as if the theme is completely different when on .com and when self-hosted.

I would suggest trying to look into the theme more and see what the heck is going on.

Well im glad that I'm not the only one having the problem. Still wondering what the heck it could be.
