why when transfering domain to new host via cpanel/whm transfer option, wordpress acts as new. the config file sees the transfers db, but does not pull it up.
how to get wordpress to see it?

I have 3 guides to moving WP here:
http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/ and one of them might have what you need. From the info you have given, it would seem that the database hasn't moved ? -

no, it moves the db, you can see it in phpadmin, and the wp-config file seems to reference it, so that is why i dont understand why it does not more.
one site i move, when i went to home page, asked me to install wp. another site give the generic wp template, and hello post, and nothing else....
....

when you move a cpanel account via whm cpanel transfer, it created everything, and moves everything automatically for you....or supposedly.....
