Transfering domain brings problems (4 posts)

    Hello,

I have a blog: http://www.randomlemons.com that is undergoing a transfer process from Dreamhost to Godaddy. I have made two mistakes

    - I did not export an .xml file of the blog (although I have the database from PHPMyAdmin)
    - I started the transfer process with a private WHOIS, that provides a broken email from Dreamhost

These being said, now I have to wait between 5 and 7 days with a broken blog and see what is going to happen. "Error establishing a database connection" is displayed on the website, although the databse is intact and the nameservers were not changed.

Will I be able to do something in order to have my blog as it was only with the database and without the .xml file? If not, what can I do in order to repair the current state of the blog and retrieve an .xml file?

I am desperate for a solution as I have more than 1000 posts to save. Thanks

If you have the database, you should be fine. All the info is in there.

I have uploaded the .sql file in the new database. The site is now up and running, I also see that posts, links and comments are in the phpmyadmin screen of the database but they won't appear on WordPress. What should I do?
