   I developed my wordpress site on localhost (XAMPP) and I would now like to transfer it to my domain hosted by Blue Hosting (domain and hosting account already set up). How would I go about doing this safely?

   you'll likely have some image links broken but can fix that quickly

   I tried, but I'm still having problems.Basically, when I upload the "wordpress" directory to the new server, non all the info is transferred, meaning all pages, formatting, editings etc. that I made on my site do not get transferred to the new site. Could you be more specific please?

   you moved all WP files? Including your theme (which would be in the wp-content folder, I'm assuming you moved that folder too)? That's the formatting I guess?

   Your posts, pages, etc is in the database.....you've moved the DB?

   Thank you, all of you. I solved the problem by in fact Importing my DB contents throught the Tools-Export-Import method. I still had to reformatt all my themes (I previously had developed my own by heavily editing a standard theme.....I had to repeat a lot of that.)
