• I just imported posts from Blogger but now they are all on a different username, CarLBanks, when my site admin nickname is CarLBanks.
Is there an easy way to transfer 242 posts to my site admin account?

  • Yeah this kind of functionality is really needed for multi author blogs even if all the problems mentioned in this thread
    http://wordpress.org/support/3/7617
with the import script are resolved.

I hope they add this functionality soon.

I don’t quite understand. You have two users, and the import imported the posts under the non-original-admin account?
So you want all posts assigned author ID x to be reassigned to author ID y?

Yes, David you have it exactly.

I am a senior citizen (age 75) and a novice computer user. When
attempting to send e-mail, I get the message: “Unable to locate the
server”. I have contacted Comcast, both by telephone and by mail.
They don’t seem to be interested in providing and answer; at least
their representative had no answer, nor did Comcast respond to my
letter. If anyone out there has some suggestions, feel free to con-
tact me at carl-dot-walden-at-comcast.net passward, xxxxxxxxx HELP!!

Hey Matt or somebody, can you delete his password and maybe “hide” his e-mail address? Carl, you NEVER want to give out your password and should not post your e-mail address as it WILL be picked up by spammers.

    1. How do we know that you are indeed Mr Walden ?
    2. It’s your SMTP setting
    3. WordPress …. Comcast ….. nope, got me there, can’t see how they can be confused !
