    Hi,

My wordpress site had crashed a few weeks ago and we are unable to access the backend and the frontend of our site and since then we decided to set up a new website with a different domain and a different host.

We contacted out previous website host and technician and they gave us all of the files from our old wordpress site.

We had numerous pages and other types of content that we need to get onto our new site. Instead of recreating each page as that would take along time and I am now starting school again, I was wondering how to transfer all of our old content from our old broken wordpress site to our new functioning one. I know that you can export your content and such, but that requires you to be able to access your wordpress site, but we are unable to get on there.

I am new to wordpress and after one website crashed I am very nervous about doing anything.

    Thanks.

You can restore your site from your backup (if that's working).
    Try: http://codex.wordpress.org/Restoring_Your_Database_From_Backup
