traffic problems changed a couple of things not sure where to start

Okay I started a new wordpress blog which is an Amazon affiliate to capitalize on Christmas sales. A very new blog. So I put it into webmaster tools as http://www.example.com instead of example.com which is what my url is. So I changed the url and chose it in webmaster tools. ABout the same time I upgraded to wordpress 3.5. About then all of my search engine traffic died. So I dont’ know if it was one of the things that I did and if I should just reverse it or if maybe google doesn’t like my site and I just have to wait or improve it. Any help would be appreciated. Also in Webmaster tools it says that I have 1300 url’s ever crawled and 0 indexed. Thank you for any help you can give.
