  • Hey Frank van der Sluijs,

Thanks for stopping by the forum! If you’d like to track subscribes in Google Analytics using the MailChimp plugin, then I would recommend adding Google Analytics tracking to the hosted Confirmation Thank You page within MailChimp, or by hosting your own signup thank you page with the tracking coded embedded there.

The signup thank you page will be the one that subscriber see once they click the link in the confirmation email to add themselves to the list. By following this guide, you can add Google Analytics tracking to the Thank You page that MailChimp hosts.

If you’d like to host your own Thank You page, then you can do so by heading into the Form Builder in the MailChimp application, and then using the drop down menu at the top of that page to select the “Confirmation Thank You page.” Once you’re there, you can use the blank below that to add your own URL that you’d like to redirect subscribers to.

Once you’ve set up the tracking on the Thank You page, you would be able to track subscribers from the signup form page to the Confirmation Thank You page.

If you have any other questions regarding the WordPress plugin, please feel free to let us know. Have a great day!
    -Gunter
