Tracking Facebook Ad Campaigns with Google Analytics for WordPress (2 posts)

    Hey everyone,

    We have multiple ad campaigns on Facebook, and want to separately track them in the campaigns part of Google Analytics.

    This post talks about how to set it up:
    http://www.ordoro.com/blog/2010/12/29/how-to-track-facebook-ads-in-google-analytics/

    So what I need is the Google Analytics for WordPress plugin to add these lines:

    _gaq.push(['_setCampSourceKey', 'utm_source']);
    _gaq.push(['_setCampMediumKey', 'utm_medium']);
    _gaq.push(['_setCampContentKey', 'utm_keyword']);
    _gaq.push(['_setCampTermKey', 'utm_keyword']);
    _gaq.push(['_setCampNameKey', 'utm_campaign']);

    I can do this manually, but that'll get wiped out when we upgrade Google Analytics for wordpress. Any way to get this going in a more modular fashion?

    Thanks!
    Berto

    As an FYI, this is for our Rearden Metal Bracelet site.

    Any ideas here?

    We're unable to get facebook ad tracking working properly and would love to see if there are other options.

    Thanks
