Trackbacks and pingbacks not showing up (9 posts)

Previous posts on this topic have not helped. Basically I sent one blog a trackback from another one of my blogs and it came in as a pingback. When I approved it, it did not show up in the post. Also, I did this because I've noticed I haven't been getting any pingbacks or tracbacks for the last two weeks, which is totally not the norm. Any clues would be helpful. Thanks.

Do you see these trackbacks/pingbacks as comments in the Admin, via Dashboard -> Comments?

Yes, it's showing up under Recent Comments.

Yes, it's showing up under Recent Comments.

Then the Trackbacks are there; your Theme is just not displaying them.

    What Theme are you using?

Hi, Arthemia (free version). Been having other problems with this theme on other blogs as well. Thanks.

I can't find a free version of Arthemia available from the developer, just the commercial version.

Arthemia was initially available for a few years as a free theme, and I relied heavily on Techvirgin, http://techvirgin.com/2009/01/wordpress-arthemia-theme-customization-guide/, for customizing it. Not sure why that makes a difference; the solution you initially suggest doesn't sound theme specific. Any way, thanks for trying.

Certainly, the principle isn't Theme-specific; however, I can't give you specific instructions for how to implement for this specific Theme without seeing how the Theme's comments markup is coded.
