   Lately I have been getting a many spams through trackback. Its kinda annoying. Is there any way to prevent this problem? I have akismet installed

   I fixed this problem nicely by turning off the ability to leave trackback pings 3 years ago.

   In wordpress, the global option is on Options - Discussion.
