I know there are many people comnplaining about this but NONE of the answers seem to help me that I am seeing. I can't seem to get ANY trackback or Pingback working for my site. It used to work so I know it's not my server, but since the update which I did from 1.5 to 2.02, nothing works. It also cannot be the theme, because I turn on Kubrick and it still doesnt work. I've also tried re-uploading my upgrade files etc, NOTHING. I've tested at that UK site that all are linking to and nothing there either. Basically, when I post, it doesnt update to pingomatic and when I try to trackback to my own articles form within and from other servers I dont get any response, meaning NO moderation, or posting of the trackback.

Please can anyone help me or send me the link to where I can download 1.5 again and atleast get the trackbacks going?

Thank you for ANY help in advance...

Problem solved, for whatever reason when clicking my trackback link, I was missing /trackback/ on the end, not sure why that was happening....

THANK you for whoever sent me the pingback and helped mme see the error of my ways... once again WP support rox :-)

    One final thing....

The problem was that at the end of my permalink, the /trackback/ was missing.... when I myself tested thats the only way it worked.... just the permalink didnt... thats fine but how do I make it so it shows /trackback/ at the end automatically?

Here's the function I put in which is standard Kubrick...

    " rel="trackback">trackback

That leaves me with this as a trackback link:

    http://www.athene.biz/index.php/archive/mamets-insight/

    but what I need is:

    http://www.athene.biz/index.php/archive/mamets-insight/trackback/

How do I insert this into the code to make it auto?

I know, more than likely a silly question... but my fingers are crossed.

    Toes too :-)
