My site is hosted at godaddy.com, I also bought my domain name from godaddy.com. I have their wordpress +4gh web hosting thats designed for wordpress. I have the app installed on godaddy, I can see all the wp files when connecting with filezilla ftp. I changed the nameservers to point at the 3 that wordpress says to. I also mapped my wordpress blog for $12 to my website styfelife.com. I didnt think I did it right so I wanted to start over so I deleted the domain name and mapping from wordpress and now when I go to styfelife.com it says its no longer available and Im always re-routing to wordpress.com. when I try to login with styfelife.com/wp-admin I get the same styfelife.wordpress.com has been deleted error. My goal is to have a wordpress ecommerce site setup to sell things from my home business. Previously when I had the mapping and didnt delete it there were no plug-in tabs on the wordpress dashboard, there arent any now. What am I doing wrong?

since Go daddy is your registrar you need change name servers back to your Go daddy host account that is you want to use wordpress.org self hosted wordpress.

Posted 8 months ago #ok I changed the domain servers back to the godaddy site, waiting about 2 hours and its still pointing me to styfelife.wordpress.com. I will allow a couple more hours for the update to propagate and see if that works. Ill be back to update, thanks!

check your wp-config.php database info
