• Hi, on my sidebar is has sections such as “Pages” “Archives” etc. How would I change the word “Pages” to say “Dogs” and then have a few pages listed that are appropriate for that heading.

Then create another section such as “cats” and have all my cat pages listed.

Is there a plugin or feature that gives total customization or must this be done manually by editing the html code?

    Thanks!

  • If a sidebar widget allows customization of its title, then you are allowed to edit it on the Appearance > Widgets panel. If it doesn’t, then you can’t, unless you manually edit the code on the sidebar template files where that sidebar content appears within your WordPress Theme.

an dhow do you actually “edit the code” for the template files? I can’t figure it out?

    Thanks.
