TortoiseSVN repository browser not responding

    Whenever I try to open the repository browser in TortoiseSVN it hangs on the “Please wait while the repository browser is initializing…” message. I can wait several minutes, but nothing happens. The application just freezes and is “Not Responding”. And then I have to kill the application.

    Any tips on this? It’s really annoying because this way I can’t delete a branch or tag/version (that is not correct).

    I’m using TortoiseSVN 1.7.11 on a Windows 7 laptop.
