over the last several months or so i have become really familiar with WP. i have seen a lot of themes out there and most of them are free. that is the great part!!, but i am really trying to find the TOP TEN or MAYBE TWENTY that really give that "WOW" factor. I am looking to implement this into a site but it is pretty hard trying to find that right one. I am sure I will have to modifiy it a bit to my liking .. but does anyone have an opinion out there of one that really takes the cake?
if you have some that focus on Christian churches that would be PHENOMINAL - seeing from my choice of a WP username "DesignPastor"

I'm very partial to WP-Andreas09 and have a heavily modified version used on many of my sites. It's easy to work with, and offers 5 color choices out of the box.

I like the Andreas-09 theme, also - very flexible.
I'm also partial to K2 - very flexible with many possibilities. I've installed a ton of each for clients.
Don't expect support here for K2, though, since it's a modification of WP.

Good to here you like the theme.
WP-Andreas09 now comes with 14 colour choices and a new horizontal menu that supports unlimited sub-page levels. Oh and is fully prepared for localisation. Very soon it will also have support for Widgets.
