   I currently use this top commentator plugin, but I notice that it only counts the first name. So if I have two different Mary's post a comment, both will get counted as one person.

   I've been trying to find a plugin that will do that, but will count not by the name, but by the email or by email and name.

   I've left a comment for the Rank plugin, but I've yet to hear a reply.

   Have you tried the Top Commentators widget?

   There's an option to group users by e-mail instead of user names, thus avoiding the problem you're having.
