Too many SQL database queries on Fatcow (4 posts)

My blog TheNerdyNurse.com is having a database connection issue. My hosting provider fatcow says that this is my fault. They state that my site is having over 75,000 queries per hour and even though I'm supposed to have "unlimited bandwidth and storage" they cap the sql database queries.
This started happening last night at 3am, according to the error logs I received view email from a monitoring site. I didn't add any plugins, change anything in the code yesterday but all of a sudden my website is suddenly getting all these queries.
They've given me the generic answers like "you have too many plugins" but I don't see how all of the sudden it's too many when they haven't changed.
I can intermittently access some of the pages and then i goes back to "Error establishing a database connection". When I call fatcow they say they do not support wordpress and to check the forums.
I've googled my little heart out. It will work for a minute then stops. They say this is because of the rolling hourly database query limits. How is anything be queried when it can't even be accessed?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Use ftp or log into the hosted account and rename the plugins folder. That will stop any plugin problems. You can add them back one at a time until you find the run-away.
