    Add to cart doesn't work:

    Scenario 1 simple product

Catalog page click on featured image or add to cart - works.

    Scenario 2 variable product

Catalog page to product page via a click on featured image - never adds anything to the cart

Catalog page to product page via a click on "select options" - 50/50 it'll add something to the cart

If you've got go to cart after adding to cart set up, 90% of the time it'll show you a blank page stating your cart's empty BUT if you have menu cart you'll see the items and price shown. Click the menu cart icon and magically the cart content will appear.

Even if you get to see your cart item and then decide to delete it from the cart, the delete doesn't work. The item stays in the cart. If you try resetting quantity bought to 0 and updating the cart it's 50/50 that the cart will update to remove the item. If it doesn't it just sits there.

Please fix - what will our clients think!!

I tracked it down. I don't use page caching but I do use DB Cache Reloaded. This was causing the problem.

Apologies for the bad news. The error was entirely with my configuration (:-[) and nothing at all to do with Woocommerce

No more DB Cache Reloaded for me. Apologies for the false report.

@ashtonej - much respect. It is awesome to see someone owning up to their misunderstanding and have the beans to post it up acknowledging the fact. We need more users like you! :)

I'd rather people learn from the mistakes of others. That way they won't be made again. Thanks for the thumbs up :-) Not sure if the guys at Woo want to mentioned the DB Cache issue. It's taken me a couple of very frustrating days to track it down. The last 100 yards were thanks to Mike's pointer.
