A trivial question probably but how does one turn access to the theme editor back on? Once Appearance | Editor is removed from the main Dashboard menu do you have to disable this plug-in to get access to it? I understand the idea is stop others editing my files but I'm a forgetful soul and worry that I might leave the site after an editing session with the plug-in not functioning.

Simply goto menu > Security > System Tweaks > disable the Turn off file editor in WordPress Back-end.

No need to disable the plugin.

    Thank you

Unfortunately, although I am the WP Administrator I am returned "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page."

How do I fix this please?

Thanks again. Member gillcbarker's "If I access the settings area from the left hand "Security" panel I do not get this message and am able to access and change the settings." did the job for me.
