Just wondering if anyone else has seen an issue with their archive pages missing a closing bracket in the link for post titles (meaning the titles are missing and excerpts become linked).

I can revert back to 3.9 to see if it was an issue in the_title_attribute, but I’d like to see if others have had this problem before I do.

  • What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

Erudito, by (and downloaded from) WPZOOM: http://www.wpzoom.com/themes/erudito/. Theme code has been the same since June 2013.

I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a non-WPORG theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from wordpress.org here.
    Try http://www.wpzoom.com/support/

In the meantime, can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

Ah, it was a conflict with version 0.9.4 of W3 Total Cache. I’ll report back if I figure out what’s up with it.

Correction: it was a conflict with a W3 Total Cache setting. I wasn’t able to pin down which one, but toggling all caching types on (under W3 Total Cache’s general settings) fixed the problem.
