With current version 2.6 of Social plugin the {title} variable is not replaced by the title of the article anymore. This happens here for 4 WP installations I run.
Anyone else having this problem?

I am still having this problem. Can anybody confirm? Could the maintainer take a look into this? I think something is broken here since the last update.
