   I use WordPress 2.7 with the platinum SEO plugin. (which I recommend)

   My site is http://www.dermaroller-planet.com and I am experiencing problems getting my home pages title tags to work properly. I should point out that I use a static page as a home page

   Using this plugin every pages title automatically ends with - Dermaroller Planet. So for example the FAQ pages tag is FAQ - Dermaroller Planet.

   But on the home page, it does not utilise the title tags that use when editing the page. So it appears as just - Dermaroller Planet which looks rubbish and is probably not great for SEO purposes.

   Any ideas on a) how to resolve this and b) is it a good idea for SEO, to have the - Dermaroller Planet part after every title tag I manually enter.

   Hi

   I'm not familiar with that plugin - I use All in One on my sites. However - All in One has a special place on its admin page to enter the tags for the homepage. The ones on the regular page don't work on the homepage. It wouldn't surprise me if Dermaroller used a similar system.
