   Hi. Admittedly, I'm a .org n00b, been on .com for 1yr & just transferred to self-hosted.

   Theme: Comet
   Problem: Title not showing for page, above header image

   Have you tried:

   - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

   - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

   - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

   Is there a way to add it in with custom CSS?

   On the theme options page, there isn't a field to add the page title, should it be pulling it from the settings>general>site title field?

   That's theme specific. Have you tried any of the troubleshooting steps mentioned above?

   I've not tried the above steps, as the title has not appeared since I first installed WP.org (before having a custom theme & plugins)
