    That is the same problem I am having, and though I am clueless how to fix it, I may know what is causing it.

    In my Theme Framework Options — in my case it is WPZOOM — the SEO enable button built into the theme is unchecked, because that’s what it tells you to do if you are using the Yoast SEO plugin.

    But my site “Meta Description” is written into that area of the Theme Framework, and I think it is disabling it, then including text from whatever new posts I publish.

    A little help here Yoast!
