   It looks as thought this is what I have been looking for !
   However, the main purpose is to use it in a Text Widget and there it is not recognized.

   Any chance this will get fixed or am I doing something wrong ?

   I just found this and gave it a go.
   Enabling shortcodes in widgets, quick WordPress tip.

   No dice. I am hoping that one of you two authors comes with a solution.
