    Hi everyone,

I am trying to add a button to the WYSIWYG editor via a plugin, I have been reading the examples on how to do this in WordPress 2.5 but am finding it difficult.

Anyone out there have a simple full example, something like a button that adds "hello wound!" to the page text?

I have had a look at how other plugins do it but that is even harder to fallow than the WordPress and TinyMCE docs.

I know this is a bit of a long shot but it would really help me out.

    Thanks,
    Levi

Well my only example is in my fpp-pano plugin. Hopefully my code's easy enough to read. I actually put a few lines of comments in, too :-)

You can also look at the wordTube code, that helped me sort things out when I was putting my plugin together.

If you read the examples referenced in the Codex, you should be able to accomplish it. Although "Hello World!" would be more traditional, not all of us have some sort of injury we want to say hi to. :-)
