    I'm having trouble getting the TinyMCE Advanced plugin working in my wordpress 3.0 site. I've tried clearing my cach, deactivating all other plugins, and deleting and reinstalling TinyMCE Advanced.

    Not sure what to do, does anybody have any suggestions for me?
    Thanks for any help,
    Jules

    What exactly is not working? Any JS errors? Does the installation fail? Does the Visual editor work properly without TinyMCE Advanced?

    I have a similar situation: TinyMCE Advanced does not display.

    I have emptied all Caches and tried the suggested solutions.

    The Visual Editor works fine if this plugin is not activated.

    I really like TinyMCE Advanced because of its Tables & extras functions.

    Many thanks
    Peter

    I too am having a problem.

    I am using WordPress 3.0.1 and TinyMCE Advanced Version 3.2.7

    I have installed the plug in as I usually install plug in - in this case I uploaded the zipped version, and then installed and activated the plugin.

    However, when I edit a post or a page, the basic WordPress editor shows up. I cannot therefore access the advanced features of TinyMCE Advanced

    Any help, very much appreciated.

    Regards,

    Steve

    I have a similar issue in that TinyMCE Advanced installs, but choosing buttons through Settings > TinyMCE Advanced does not work, settings do not save, drag drop does not work at all.

    Other difference from above posts is that my post/page editor does not show either the visual or html editor. Tried reinstalling a fresh verion of wp-includes, but to no avail.

    Running WP 3.0.1.

    Plesae advise.

    The only problem I have is, the table icons aren't showing in the editor. Everything else works fine. I have done everything that most forums suggest, such as refresh cache. Deactivate all plugins, reactivate all plugins, close browsers, reopen browsers, re install plugin. But still no table icons. In the code there is the span class=mceSeparator which is wrapped in td, but no content in there. See below
    <td>
    <span class="mcsSeparator"></span>
    </td>

    I am also using WordPress 3.0.1 and TinyMCE Advanced Version 3.2.7

    Please advice.

    I had to give up too.

    It's a shame as this could be useful.

    Does anyone "own" this mod that we could contact?

    The one thing not working for me with 3.0.1 is the table insert; the dialog box is empty.

    However, I see this long thread with no response. Is this plugin being maintained?

    I'm going to try WP Super Edit as an alternative. The admin interface isn't as clean, but most threads have developer responses within several days.

    Follow up: I just loaded WP Super Edit and am having the same issue with the table dialog showing no content (all white). Perhaps these are conflicts with CSS classes?
