• I have the latest version of wordpress and tinymce-advanced plugin installed and some features of it arent working.

The main one being is that the insert image (the green tree-button), when you click on it, on IE a blank screen appear whereas on other browsers I just get an download option to download the “media.htm” page which is supposed to show the form to insert the image.

Everytime I click on the insert image from tinymce, i get an option to download the page instead of being shown the form.

I dont want to use the default uploading tools bundled with wordpress so if there is a way to fix this situation please mention it

    Thanks

  • Hi,

    Check with these options:

-> Check all the plugins and have a check with settings…and enable plugin one by one to find out the culprit..also check the plugin compatibility with your wordpress version..

    Thanks,

    Hello,

I deactivated every plugin and now I only have tinymce-advanced installed and the problem still exists.

Whenever I click on the insert image button (one with the tree) I get a download window of the page that is supposed to display the form. The page does not open.

Check the .htaccess file. Some lines may have disabled or blocked the plugins. It also can slow down WordPress.
