[resolved] Tiny bug report about Open Sans (4 posts)

    Open Sans is a good choice for the Admin panel but it needs to support "extended" Latin characters. It could be done by adding &subset=latin-ext,latin at the end of the imported font URL, like so:

    @import url(http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:300italic,400italic,600italic,300,400,600&subset=latin-ext,latin);

    By the way, is there any chance that you accept people to be involved in this super secret project? I would love to participate in slaughtering the old admin interface :)

    Also this file should not be included in CSS but separate due SSL.

    Thanks for the report, Barış -- I've added this to our to-do list for MP6. We'll be pulling the Open Sans @import out of the main CSS file before we finalize things -- our plan now is to dynamically load the right subsets of Open Sans depending on the localization currently being used.
