    Hello I have a tiny thin black line above my header and I am unsure of how to remove it. I have tried many of the posts referencing the area above the header and none of these seem to do the trick. I have a twenty eleven child theme here is the link to my site in progress http://harrybuild.rookandamosdesign.co.uk/

    thanks in advance

    Harry

    for those fundamental formatting problems, try to use a tool such a Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ to identify the involved styles;

    in your case it is a top border in the style of #branding

    add this line to your style.css near line no 531
    after margin-bottom -7px;
    margin-top: -6px;

    It's the same tool, but you have to download it with Firefox whereas Chrome is built-in.
