TimThumb images not re-sizing correctly

Hello, i hope someone can help me here. I use wordpress theme wp-press 1.0 and use timthumb for the magazine style front page and post header. For some reason, timthumb is not correctly resizing for me. http://www.justifiedlions.com/ shows the images having lots of white space and should show as a 275×600 even when the dimensions are put in “custom fields” in the post it still won’t correctly resize, any ideas?
