    Trying to export 4,000+ custom post types (products -> woocommerce) and it times out, followed by "white screen of death".

    Hi Jean-Francois

    Sorry to hear that. I do plan to do a full re-write of the plugin to be more memory efficient in future, but as it currently is, I can only suggest the following:

    * Increase memory available to WordPress
    * Increase the server timeout
    * Filter out un-needed fields

    Increasing memory/timeout is covered at the bottom of my FAQ here.

    Hope that helps.

    Best wishes

    Paul

    Perhaps, if you gave the possibility to break down into smaller chunks or use AJAX, this could reduce the need for memory and/or PHP time ?

    As for your suggestions, we already provide high-performance hosting and this was on a dedicated server where PHP was allocated 512Mb RAM and we boosted PHP_max_execution_time to 600, to no avail.

    And we do need all fields, as this particular site is e-commerce.

    By the way, 4k records is not uncommon when dealing with medium/large sites using e-commerce, and your plugin could be a godsend if it supported those numbers (actually 10k would be better), as you'd be the only solution in town... just saying...

    Hi Jean-Francois

    I totally agree. Just haven't yet had time to re-write it. I'll try to implement your range suggestion as a short term solution in the next week or so.

    Best wishes

    Hi Again

    I've just uploaded version 1.4.4. You should now be able to specify a range of posts to export.

    I know it could be better, but hope that helps until I have time to re-write it properly.

    Best wishes

    Paul
