Hi, I presently seem to have the problem that the loading of the whole page is considerably slowed down because api.flattr.com is not responding. Is there anything to prevent that, e.g. having a shorter timeout? Otherwise it blocks the whole site. Thank you!

Posted 1 year ago #You can optimize your sites code to defer loading JavaScript objects as a last step in the browsers rendering chain.
Nevertheless, this would have been a flattr API server related problem and is not connected to the wordpress plugin alone as all other buttons have been affected to.
