When using the T value in my time stamp option in options general it returns a value of EDT even though I am set at GMT -6 which is mountain time. It displays the right time but says it is EDT.

I'm having this problem as well. In the PHP time() description at PHP.net/date , it says it will "display the timezone setting of this machine", which I am assuming is the timezone setting for the server it's being hosted off of. Which is a bummer.
Maybe there is a .htaccess trick we can pull off to get what we want??
