Hello all. Can you tell me how to change the time and date format to show dd/mm/yyyy as opposed to the default format of yyyy/mm/dd when setting a start and end date for the poll?

    Thanks

    Hi nosferatu999,

Please tell us where you would like to make that change: in the admin or in front end?

    Regards,

    YOP Team

Many thanks for the reply. I probably need to change the settings in both if possible but the front end is more important as, at least, the site users would be able to read it in a format they are used to.

    Hi,

To make the changes in front end you have to modify the code.

If you don't want to wait for the next release, when this option will be available, we can give you instructions on how you can change the code or we can send you a file with the code you have to replace.

Please let us know. If you want us to send the file, please provide an email address.

    Best wishes,

    YOP Team

    Hey Ciro,

Please follow the link below and download the file, and replace yop_poll_model.php with it.

    http://yourownprogrammer.com/support/yop_poll_model.down

This way, the new format will be DD/MM/YYYY 00:00:00

If you want a different format please let us know.

    Best wishes,

    DONE!.... the date is perfect.

YOP...just another problem... I set "View Poll Archive Link : YES"
but I don't see the link.
I need to show a link to the archive... if possible under the button "VOTE".
    Is it possible?
    thanks

    Hi Ciro,

From the main menu go to "Templates" and edit the one you used for your poll. In the CSS section, after

    <div>%POLL-VOTE-BUTTON%</div>
    <div id="yop-poll-results-%POLL-ID%">%POLL-VIEW-RESULT-LINK%</div>

    add

    <div>%POLL-VIEW-ARCHIVE-LINK%</div> and save.

Next, edit your poll and in "View Poll Archive Link" choose "Yes" and in "Poll Archive Url:" add the link to your archive and save.

Hi dear,I'm using the BLUE 2 template version.
    The code

    <div>%POLL-VOTE-BUTTON%</div>
    <div id="yop-poll-results-%POLL-ID%">%POLL-VIEW-RESULT-LINK%</div>
    is not in CSS section.
I can find it in "Template Before Vote".
I tried it anyway in the section "Template Before Vote" & "Template After Vote".
In this way I can see the link to my archive!

    Hi cirowordpress,

    Sorry, our bad!

    Yes, <div>%POLL-VIEW-ARCHIVE-LINK%</div>

should be added in the "Template Before Vote" section, after

    <div>%POLL-VOTE-BUTTON%</div>
    <div id="yop-poll-results-%POLL-ID%">%POLL-VIEW-RESULT-LINK%</div>

    Best wishes,

    YOP Team
