When you’re adding an image,on the right side you will see “attachment details”. On the bottom of those details there’s the option for “ATTACHMENT DISPLAY SETTINGS”. Choose the size of the image you’re inserting there.
EDIT: i suppose you did set the image sizes in Setting – Media tab
EDIT2: just now i noticed you mentioned the gallery.Sorry. Do you use the default WP gallery?
Hi,
yeah, I am using the default gallery. And when you try to add a gallery there is no option for set the image size 🙁
There had been an option in 3.4, I guess. Hope to this feature again in 3.6!
You can specify the image size to use for the thumbnail display. Valid values include “thumbnail”, “medium”, “large”, “full” and any other additional image size that was registered with add_image_size(). The default value is “thumbnail”. The size of the images for “thumbnail”, “medium” and “large” can be configured in WordPress admin panel under Settings > Media. For example, to display a gallery of medium sized images: [gallery size="medium"]

EDIT: you have to switch from visual to text view to make changes to the gallery shortcode
Right, but this is the size for the thumbnails, not for the linked images:(
