Thumbs not Generating as Expected

This is my development site:

I have recently implemented on this site:

brightontherapyservice.co.uk/news

It is working how I expect on the dev site so I just copied the them and child theme directories to the actual site and uploaded them. I have regenerated the thumbnails with the plugin and the images are elliptical and not circular.

I notice in the source that the width and height are not declared in the HTML the same.

What else can I try?
