The thumbnail feature is coming up in the next release (version 2.2.0). This version is currently in its testing phase and will be released at the end of this month. The test version can be downloaded from my website.

Awesome! Thanks for the quick response Stefan. I’m in dev mode so I will download the beta version and play with it. Thanks!

Is there a setting I need to activate or is there a function I need to overwrite or something? Currently all I see are little “dots” for the pagination. I was hoping to link each photo’s thumbnail version across the bottom.

I’m sorry, I was too quick to answer your question and mentioned thumbnails. By default the slideshow will display its pagination as bullets. These bullets all have separate CSS classes though, and therefore can be styled to be displayed as thumbnails. However, you’d have asssign the thumbnail images manually.

The actual thumbnails will become available in a later version of the plugin, as implementing it in the upcoming version would make it too big of a release to offer support for.

Thanks Stefan. I may just wait for the thumbnails then, instead of trying to hack the code any. I need to have the feature be dynamic, so the client can add/edit her own photos and the thumbnails get automatically updated. I can tell her that the feature will be available in a future release. If you need any beta testing for that option please let me know. My email is info at cowgirlexpressions dot com.

That’s very understandable. I’ll let you know when the thumbnail feature is available, which probably won’t be within the next month.
