Thumbnails in Admin not showing up and will not link to orginal images.

    Hi, I’ve seen similar posts around, but they are discussing the fact the thumbnails are not showing up when I am creating the post. It uploads but then there is no image in the entry field. It appears as a broken link image.

    Once saved and published you will see a thumbnail, but then when you click on it you get the error:

    can’t open the page “http://wp-content/uploads/2008/11/knots.jpg” because it can’t find the server “wp-content”.

    With Next Gen Gallery it works okay, but I want the option to install a single pic.

    Interestingly this might be related to the error:

    Unable to create directory /home/.wycliffe/blah/blach.com/news/wp-content/uploads/2008/11. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    Could there be a relationship? At this stage I just want to upload images and have it work properly.
