Thumbnails & Featured Images not showing

    This website/blog has the problem of not showing the images, either as thumbnails, featured image or sometimes as images within a post.

    It seems to be connected to the folders where WordPress puts the images. Once the image is put in those folders they aren’t able to be seen again…

    WordPress says they are in the folder but when I look via File Zilla the folders and images are not there.

    I am using the Platinum Theme with Genesis from Studio Press. I use it for several other clients without any problems.

    thebestofmtshasta, are you experiencing this problem after a recent upgrade to 3.1.3?

    Have been experiencing for a long time and it appears to continue.

    I have removed the images as people are coming to the website so the problem is not so easy to detect.

    Here is the last folder that WP created for the images:

    /blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/01

    When I add an image and designate it for a featured image it says it has put it in a folder (for example 2011/05) but WP has in fact not created that folder and subsequently the image does not show as a featured image or as a thumbnail.

    Any suggestions?
