Hi, I use this awesome plugin on my website and I really love it, but the thing is I think my theme might be throttling the life out of this plugin for me, I installed this plugin to display a collection of photos on one of my posts as a slide where people don’t have to scroll all the way just to view photos, so I found this plugin, and it worked for me, but here’s the problem, My website uses a theme that’s ajax powered throughout so the pages don’t refresh every time I click on links, the thing is on clicking this link on my website, I get columns instead of row thumbnails which isn’t what I had set in the settings, I then reloaded the page and it looked and worked fine again, I only have to reload it once and then it works properly, another strange thing, I tried opening the same page without reloading the page in IE and Firefox and such never happened, I then concluded it was pro’lly a Chrome issue, at the same time I feel its the ajax feature of my site that’s not interacting well with my site on that post. Do you think there’s any way I could disable ajax for just one link on my website, a plugin, some line of code? One more thing, the transition effect between images are surprisingly smoother and faster in Internet Explorer than in chrome where its very laggy. Pls Help. Thanks!

  • Hi, glad you like the plugin!

Unfortunately I cannot provide support for your theme, you’ll have to hire a developer to fix the ajax issues you are experiencing.

The transitions are very smooth for me in Chrome, what version are you running? What OS? Is it the same for both prettyPhoto and FancyBox?

I didn’t create the lightbox galleries, the best I can do is update them to the latest versions if there is an issue, but you are free to open a support ticket on the developer’s website’s if you think it’s an issue with their lightbox script.

I use windows 8 and Chrome 30.0.1599.101m the latest, I’ve not tried the prettyPhoto option though, i’ll do that now and see if it solves any issues, thanks for the support.

    No problem!
